General Policies

What is your Booking Policy?

A booking fee in the form of an appointment deposit is required to book all appointments.  This booking fee will become a credit once services have been rendered and upon payment, your booking fee will be deducted from your total balance.  Up until this point, the booking fee is paid to hold your appointment slot.  If for any reason, you cancel or reschedule the appointment without the appropriate notice, you will forfeit your Booking Fee and will be required to pay a new booking fee if you desire to schedule a new appointment.  The booking fee is entirely refundable if the stylist (or myself) requests to cancel the appointment for any reason.

Each appointment type has their own booking fee and any appointments scheduled are required to be scheduled through the booking site.  I will not accept ANY booking fee's via Cash App, Zelle or Venmo.

What is your Service Policy?

Please arrive to your appointment at your scheduled time and wait in the waiting area of the salon until I come up to meet you.  Please allow any client seated in my chair the same courtesy you would expect to receive by allowing them peaceful enjoyment of their service and payment privacy.

Please do not attempt to arrive earlier than your scheduled time.  I will begin only at the scheduled time.  There is a 15 minute grace period for every appointment.  If for any reason my previous appointment runs over that 15 minutes(very rare), you will be entitled to a credit of $1 per minute after the 15 minute grace period.

Please do not bring any additional guest unless you are a parent accompanying a MINOR for a service.  The salon has limited space.

All final payments will be accepted via Cash, Apple Pay, Cash App, Credit Card, Tap To Pay with phone. A fee of 3% is added to any credit card transactions and an accompanying Credit Card authorization must be left on file for first time use of any credit card.  Your credit card will be verified against your Identification.  If this is unacceptable to you, please prepare to pay using any other method. 

Payment is due before Finishing is complete, meaning before any further styling after an installation has occured, payment must be finalized.

What is your Lateness, Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy?

There is a 15 minute grace period for every appointment. There will be a $1 charge for every minute after the 15 minute grace period that you have not arrived.  After 45 minutes, your appointment will be considered cancelled and you will need to book a new appointment. 

There will be a $1 credit for every minute after the grace period that the stylist has not started your appointment.

NO CALL NO SHOW up to 12 hours after the appointment will result in a scheduling ban.  You will forfeit your booking fee in the event of a NO CALL NO SHOW.

We understand that changes may need to happen, but please give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Rescheduling within the 24 hours before your appointment will result in a forfeit of the booking fee credit but you won't need to pay another booking fee to secure your new appointment slot. If you reschedule a second time, you will need to pay a new booking fee to hold your appointment slot.  Repeated reschedulings without advance notice will result in a severance of our professional relationship.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 72 hours prior to your appointment to receive a booking fee refund. If you cancel within 48 hours before your appointment, you will forfeit your booking fee.

What is your Age Policy?

Ages 6 - 12 - Braids and General Services Only - 10% Rate Reduction

Ages 13+ - All services at the normal rate.

What is your Travel Policy?

Travel associated with any services with incur a fee and need to be paid in advance of the appointment.

Travel fees are not charged at pop up events outside of North Carolina that are advertised by me.  However, fees will be incured for off site appointments made during those trips.

LOCAL UP TO 25 MILES - $75

LOCAL 26 TO 50 MILES - $150

LOCAL 50 TO 100 MILES - $250

OVER 100 MILES TO OUT OF STATE - $250 + ROUNDTRIP FEE WILL BE ADDED*. PLEASE SEE BELOW.

* MODES OF TRANSPORTATION ARE

- Car Rental - For appointments in the same state and neighboring states, within at 5-8 Hour Driving Distance, a car rental fee will be added.

- Train - For appointments in the same state and neighboring states whereby a car is unneccesary to travel (a city with public transport or walkable conveniences), within an 5-8 hour train travel distance, a train travel fee will be added equal to a round trip ticket.

- Air - For appointments exceeding a travel distance of 300 miles, an air travel fee will be added equal to a round trip ticket.

 

What is your Package & Specials Policy?

Package & Special Policy

Hair and Service Packages combine the purchase of hair from myself and the services rendered for the purchased hair.  When booking a package, a significant discount is applied based on the following terms -

  1. Package must be used in accordance to the guidelines and specifications advertised during the promo period for the package.
  2. Hair that is included as part of a package, is your entitlement to receive should you decide to cancel your initial appointment. You will be responsible for the full price of the hair with the deposit being credited to the total.

What is your Free Installation & Model Policy?

Free Installation Policy

Free installations are offered as part of a broader deal in which a client must purchase hair extensions from Keeks Kartelle (Quiana Jones) and affiliated suppliers. 

When receiving a free installation, the installation fee will be waived for the INITIAL installation only.  Any services rendered afterwards,  will be charged as normal according to the pricing listed on this website.  If there are any issues with the initial installation, the only additional service where the fee is waived will be a Removal of that Install.  You will receive your hair. 

Free Installation appointment will be partially recorded, as well as a before and after picture taken.  Client Face will NOT be shown.

Model Policy

Model appointments are appointments where you will specifically be receiving free services in exchange for your likeness to be used on social media, marketing and advertising pictures, video and promos.  Models must bring their own hair for the appointment.

Models must be prepared to have their face shown on Camera, as well as be prepared to leave a review/testimonial of the service. Appointment will be mostly recorded, please plan your time accordingly and allow ample time for the process to be completed.  If you are within time constraints, please book a normal appointment.

 

What is your Photo & Video Policy?

All clients will have standard non identifying BEFORE and AFTER picture & video taken. Please allow the stylist 5 minutes total to complete this action.

You will be asked by the stylist to sign a photo and video release, in which you can accept or decline usage of your photos on social media and organic marketing (non-paid advertising).  All photos will be kept on record as proof of services provided. 

Due to a HIGH rate of chargebacks within the Hair Service Industry, we are required by our credit card processor to obtain proof of credit card use & authorization from every client who uses a credit card.  Photos & Video are held on file and are used as proof during any dispute resolution. When paying with a credit card, an identifying photo, while holding the client ID will be taken.

Can I bring my own hair? Is Hair Included?

Packages and Specials that include hair, will be provided by myself. You cannot bring your own hair to a special or package appointment or you will be charged regular price.

All other services do not hair include hair.  Please bring your own hair for the appointment.  Any hair that is purchased by me or the stylist for the appointment will be added on to the total.

Please bring the correct hair for the appointment type.

  • Nano Bead Extensions - Nano Bead Hair with the Metal Tip
  • Clip in Weave - Premade Clip in Sets
  • Custom Clip Extension Sets - Machine Weft Bundles
  • Braids - Prestretched Braiding Hair (NO BLUNT ENDS)
    • Standard Length - 26 - 32 inch hair
    • Thigh Length - 36 - 48 inch hair
    • Knee Length - 50 - 60 Inch Hair
    • Boho - Human, Mixed or Synthetic Bulk or Wefted Hair 18"
  • Festival Hair - Braiding hair in any desired color (does not need to be prestretched)
  • Crochet Weave - 6-8 packs of Pre-Looped Hair

Outside hair will not be accepted for Beaded Weft Extensions

Any hair that is customized and ordered from me, cannot be refunded simply because you decided to bring your own hair to the appointment.

Any hair that is ordered from me is non-refundable.

What is the purpose of a Booking Fee? What is the difference from a deposit?

A booking fee is a guarantee from the client to the stylist, that they will be present for their appointment at the time they have selected and booked via the booking site.  This fee ensures that when we open for business that day, our business obligations are being fulfilled to accomodate the appointment you have scheduled and we can continue to run a successful & profitable business.

A deposit is an advanced payment on a service agreement between the stylist and client.  A deposit is only valid if an agreement has been made that commits both to the appointment. Deposits are used to purchase specialty items that may be needed for the appointment such as hair, hair color.

Deposits are only accepted for package & specials appointments where hair & installation is bundled together.  All other appointments are accepted with a booking fee. Deposit total will be deducted from the total at the end of the appointment.

When you book an appointment, you are required to pay the booking fee. As a courtesy to our clients, when the services have been rendered, your booking fee will be used as a credit on the total of the appointment.

Why do you suggest contacting you through you website initially?

As a hairstylist, entrepreneur, and mom, many people require my assistance on a daily basis.  While I would love to answer each and every single phone call, I am human and cannot commit to every request at the moment someone needs me.

When you contact me via my website, this allows me to help get your questions answered and needs met faster, either by myself, or my Assistants.  That way my business can continue to operate smoothly in the backend as I serve all of you in front end.
